Lean Thinking course

A Lean Thinking Professional has extensive knowledge of Lean Management methodologies and tools. A Lean Thinking Professional is able to create process speed by reducing waste. In essence, the strength of a Lean Thinking professional lies in mobilising the “common sense” of your organisation.
 
 
 

Course overview

In 2 days you will learn how to apply Lean tools within optimisation programmes. You will also learn the 5 Lean principles of Womack as first developed by IMVP to understand the broader Lean Philosophy. The Lean training is based on Womack’s “Lean Roadmap”.

We provide our Lean Thinking course as a classroom training (2 days). 

Upon completion, you will be able to:

  • Reduce process lead times
  • Analyse a process using Lean Tools
  • Identify and resolve 7 types of waste
  • Eliminate non-value adding activities
  • Reduce inventory
  • Apply tools such as Visual Management, 5S and Poka Yoke
